Adidas Mat Wizard 4 - A Magical Combination of Speed, Function, and Style

When the Adidas Mat Wizard IV first hit the wrestling shoe scene, it took everyone by surprise, and had everyone questioning how they could come up with such a shoe. Was there an actual wizard designing the shoe? Did they use some kind of magic wand to create such durable material? How could they make such an advanced shoe so affordable? Adidas did not want to give up their secrets when we asked them these questions and more, but regardless we???re just appreciative of what they created.
One of the first tastes of trickery the Mat Wizard IV pulled is its high level of comfort. While being a mid-cut shoe, it still provides ample amount of ankle support with an extremely cushioned and comfy fabric upper. The upper part of the shoe is composed of extremely durable and highly breathable mesh that keeps feet happy and dry all tournament long. Finished off with a sleek lace pocket that can cleanly and securely tuck the laces away with little hassle. The sides are made of a TPU material (it???s a really durable and flexible plastic, don???t worry we had to look it up too) that helps achieve the ultimate sock-like fit right out of the box, making the Mat Wizard get only more comfortable with wear. The midsole is made of an EVA foam that makes a wedge-like angle to keep you securely and comfortably on your toes. This sneaky addition makes for especially powerful offense and unusually fast re-attacks with no magic wands or spells required. The sole on the bottom of the Adidas Mat Wizard IV is Adidas???s brand new, high grip, and extremely popular unisole design. Much like other maximum grip shoes, the sole rises higher up on the ankle which allows for maximum grip in every position. The bottom also features drive specific areas located in important areas of the foot, designed to win those sticky scramble situations. Unlike a lot of other grip focused wrestling shoes models available, the Mat Wizard maintains very high levels of flexibility that is hard to find in other unisole shoes. The Mat Wizard IV is truly the achievement of magical design.

One of the most spectacular parts of the Mat Wizard IV is its price point. The Mat Wizard???s design is extremely similar to that of Adidas???s ???Rio??? model, from its high-tech upper to the ultra-grip sole, it was one of the most technically advanced shoes on the market. However, the Rio was also one of the highest retailing shoes ever, starting out at approximately $199.99 back in 2016. Even the Rio on sale three years later costs more than the Mat Wizard! The new Mat Wizard IV clocks in at almost half the cost and is even more updated than the Rio. When your wrestling shoes affect your experience on the mat, no wrestling shoe gives a more spellbinding and superior experience than the new Adidas Mat Wizard IV.
